Hotham Junior Series

On the weekend I ventured to mt hotham with tsc for the junior series on thurdsday after school. Because of the poor snow conditions they were unable to have a slopestyle and so they modified the comp and had a 'railstyle'. The course was actually really fun and I was happy to make it through to the finals. In practise I had my run sorted and stomped it like three times in a row but unfortunately I couldnt sort out my frnt 270 onto the down bar and ended up coming 5th. The park crew worked hard over night to build a 10-15 ft jump to host the big air saturday night. In qualifying I landed a cab 5 and ended up coming second. Then in the finals I landed my cab 5 again and was sitting second after my first run. second run I went for a frnt 7 and i rotated it but on the landing I was bit heavy on my front foot and frontfliped. I ended up coming third which I was reasonably happy with.

Gatorade At Vail

on the saturday the 9th i went over to vail to compete in the gatorade free flow tour. the course was a three line of like a 25, 30 and 40ft jumpinto hip and finished with a few rails. my run was a frnt 3, back 3, frnt 7 and just mellow tricks on the features at the bottom. in the comp i stomped my run and was stoked. i came sixth and only four qualified which was a bit disapointing but i was happy with my first comp of the season.

Up Coming Comp

With the first of the usasa series for slope style coming up on saturday the 9th I have been trying to stomp my comp run. It consists of cab 5 back 3 and front 7. If I can land that in the comp I will be stoked. So on the tuesday the 5th I went to vail to try and land my run on some different jumps though i couldnt ride to my full potential because I had terrible shin bang. Vail's park was heaps of fun and the rails were the highlight.
